I still can’t believe it is my 50th post—given how many blogs I purged in the past. I have invested so much energy, love, and care into this platform and met many lovely people, making it impossible to even think of abandoning this one! First, thank you so much for your comments, likes, and care wherever you are. The first purpose of my blog has been fulfilled now that I have reached you, my dear readers.
When I first created this blog, I had no idea what I would write about or who would read my posts. It turns out that we are better off letting go of any expectations when embarking on creative endeavors. However, I already knew I didn’t want to make money off this blog since I had no patience or desire to work on digital marketing skills to improve my Google ranking and SEO—that’s a plus.

What could I have done more?
There are numerous things I would love to cover here, but my blog inevitably became all about traveling and living in Japan thanks to my burning desire to discover every nook and cranny of this country. Of course, I could have talked about Japanese culture more, but I thought Wikipedia and other significant sources would help you more.
I could have written about the current political atmosphere in Japan (or lack thereof), but I didn’t want to ruffle anyone by talking about someone else’s country. Let’s face it: I am still a foreigner here and will always be, even though I pay my taxes like anyone else. It is safer to avoid such dividing subjects anyway.
Finally, I decided to write more book reviews, but since I read many of them, it became hard to catch up with my read pile and pick up the ones I wanted to concentrate on. I will have to be pickier with my choices in the future if I want to keep writing more book reviews.
What do you think I can do more?
So, I am asking you, my readers. I am attaching a poll under this post to hear what you think about what I can do more. Unfortunately, I can’t promise to write about everything you want me to because of a lack of time and resources, but I would love to have a project and slowly work on it in the coming months.
I look forward to reading your answers and comments.
Thank you for reading this and showing love for my blog. And have a fabulous April, wherever you are!
